Skin Care
Eliminate Cellulite
An excellent treatment for cellulite is to routinely have a massage
done on your body, which can be done either at a massage parlor or
by your loved one. When you are being massaged, this increases the
chances that the blood flow will amplify in that specifically
concentrated area of your body, thus enabling the cellulite present
to be metabolized and diffused.
How does the massage actually work? Basically, the trained cellulite
will rub and massage problem areas on the skin with intense pressure.
This pressure increases blood flow and the lymphatic drainage of the
area, which in turn helps aid in cellulite removal. The pressure from
this specialized massage will help to flatten and even out cellulite
deposits, thereby reducing the appearance of dimpled skin. After a few
of these lymphatic massage sessions, you should notice some improvements
with the affected areas.
Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is a scrub for the skin to penetrate the deep pores
using finely ground mineral crystals. It is usually done at a salon
although an intensive treatment should be done in the doctor's office.
A microdermabrasion machine is also available for use at home to allow
you to do the treatment for yourself. There are fewer risks involved
since the machine is gentler than those used by professionals. Some
skin care treatments offer exfoliating scrubs that also contain mineral
crystals. They are called microdermabrasion scrubs, but in reality are
still scrubs for exfoliation since they cannot produce the same results.
Your skin will improve temporarily with this treatment since it does
not act on removing deeply colored pigmentation. On the other hand,
this procedure can help minimize the appearance of fine lines and bring
up the turnover rate of skin cells. This procedure is not that labor
extensive, needing only 20 to 30 minutes of your time to make you skin
healthy and glowing. The recommended number of treatments is five to
ten times at two to three week intervals. Results are noticeable usually
after the fifth session.
Facial Skin Cleansing
Most of the facial treatments are based on just a few specific processes
and principles, which will always lead to a better skin condition and
appearance, when used properly.
Facials generally moisturize and hydrate the skin by using steam, masks,
humectants and hydrating creams.
To cleanse, facials employ the extraction of blackheads, pimples and
whiteheads using a facial clay mask.
For deeper cleansing, extractions are done using a needle and lens. The
skin of the face is first relaxed and softened in preparation for extraction.
Skin care technicians are learned in doing these procedures hygienically and
accurately so there is no danger of complications.
